>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Facelifting for Songplayer (AGA) <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
a)
If you want to improve only the looking of the buttons just copy the
»image« dir (supplied in the archive) over the "old" »image« directory.
b) Only for AGA users
If you who want to have Songplayer like in the example picture
try this:
-> Use the Pointer app in your Workbench Prefs drawer and load the
»pointer.pre« file (it is the archive). Click on save.
You can change the look of the pointer but don't modify the colors.
Changing the colors may corupt the display font and the background colors.
-> Copy the dir »Background« to your MUI dir.
-> Copy the contents of the »Patterns« dir to your MUI »Patterns« dir.
-> Replace the »image« dir in your Songplayer location whit the new one.
-> Copy »Fonts« to your »Fonts« dir.
-> From the »Prefs« dir copy the file SONGPLAYER.1.prefs to ENVARC:MUI/
-> From the »Prefs« dir copy the file Songplayer.cfg to your Songplayer dir.
You can later modify the Songplayer config to suit your CPU.
-> Start the PSI application in the MUI drawer.
-> Click on new, then on edit.
-> In the Public Name gadget enter Songplayer, and in the Background gadget
select the AmigaBack.iff. (it is in your MUI dir)
-> Go to the Display page and select High Res Laced, set the depth to 6.
-> Go to the Colors page and enter for the first 4 colors these RGB values:
R: 144 R: 0 R: 255 R: 1
1. G: 167 2. G: 0 3. G: 255 4. G: 92
B: 175 B: 0 B: 255 B: 213
-> For the last 4 colors enter these:
R: 149 R: 181 R: 127 R: 101
1. G: 149 2. G: 79 3. G: 118 4. G: 99
B: 149 B: 74 B: 191 B: 100
-> Click on ok, then save.
-> Start Songplayer
P.S. When you make your own Background you MUST use the exact palette that
is used in the example Background (AmigaBack.iff). Also, in the
Background you have to use ALL the colors (don't ask why) if you want
that your Amiga show the picture corectly (and the display font).
